Insurance Waivers

All people riding on the property of Forest Park, whether on their own horse or on a riding school horse are required to complete and sign a liability waiver.

Liability waivers are a requirement of our insurer, and also a legislative government requirement. Waivers were introduced by the government in accordance with legislation to be used by all recreational services. The waivers are used in order for clients engaging in recreational services (such as horse riding) to acknowledge that there is an element of danger in the sport, and accept some responsibility for their actions. The providers of recreational services (such as riding schools) still have a duty of care to their clients.
